About

hobbyhound.eu tracks deals and price history for the hobby: board games, wargames (Warhammer, Bolt Action…), paints, brushes and modelling tools. It scans shops regularly, groups offers of the same product from different shops and records every price change.

How it works

  1. Shop integrations – product feeds (Google Merchant, Ceneo), Shopify, WooCommerce, generic HTML and JSON-LD.
  2. Scanner – every few hours it downloads product lists, keeping polite delays and respecting robots.txt.
  3. Matching – offers are grouped into products by EAN or normalized name.
  4. Price history – every price and availability change is stored. Currencies are converted with NBP average rates.
  5. Deals – discount is computed against the pre-sale price given by the shop; all-time lows are highlighted.

Notes

Prices are for information only – check the price and shipping costs in the shop before buying. Prices of international shops exclude shipping and customs.
