Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is HobbyHound.eu. Contact: kontakt@hobbyhound.eu.

2. What we process and why

• E-mail correspondence – your e-mail address, name and message: to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest; Art. 6(1)(b) where it concerns a contract). Kept for up to 12 months after the matter is closed.
• Server logs – IP address, browser type, time of request: security and diagnostics (legitimate interest), kept for a short time.
• Statistics – we count site visits, product page views and clicks on “Go to shop” per day, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. To count a visitor once a day, your IP address and browser type are turned into an anonymous code together with a random key that changes every day; the codes and keys are deleted after that day, so you cannot be recognised later (legitimate interest – knowing how the site is used).

3. Browser storage and cookies

The browser's local storage keeps your settings (language, currency, delivery country), your cookie choice and – for administrators – the login token. These are necessary for the functions you choose and do not require consent. We do not use advertising tools.

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics tools.

4. Shops and product images

Product photos are loaded directly from the shops' servers (without sending the page address), so those servers can see your IP address. After clicking a link to a shop, the shop's privacy policy applies.

5. Recipients

Data may be processed on our behalf by our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
